Berkeley's Story...
Hi, I am a handsome little devil named Berkeley but everyone just calls me ‘Happy’- can you guess why? That's right, I'm one happy dude! I came her looking for a nice person to take me in and give me all the love I deserve….I do well with other dogs but just don’t expect me to share, anything! Not my toys, not my food, not my love…nope! And I sure hope you don’t expect me to share my home with cats…cuz I am not willing to do that either. People, oh I Love people, I think they are my favorite thing in the whole wide world….little kids, now that I am not sure about. I don't like being grabbed at or pulled on and since I still need to learn to share it’s best that I stick to a family with members 10 years and older. I am a fun, HAPPY dude just waiting for a patient person to love me, to train me and to take me into their wonderful home!
3 ½  years old-8lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes; neuter, microchip, 1 month pet health insurance, free vet exam, reduced cost training class, toy & treat packet, leash/collar, food sample.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Berkeley, a Portland Tibetan Spaniel/Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Tibetan Spaniel/Pomeranian for sale in Portland, or seeking a Tibetan Spaniel/Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Tibetan Spaniel/Pomeranian breeders who help with Tibetan Spaniel/Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
