I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.
Chance is one of the most outgoing, friendly dogs we have. He knows no stranger and prefers to cuddle up with someone rather than sleep alone. He knows basic commands and follows direction well, he also responds to correction very well. Chance came to the rescue after he was found chained up, with a padlock around his neck. Once the fire department removed the chain, and he was evaluated, it was learned that he was heartworm positive. Chance has since been heartworm treated and is now healthy and heartworm negative and up to date on all vaccines. Chance has been fostered in homes with children and does wonderfully with them, he is a wonderful representative of his breed! He’d make a great jogging partner, and enjoys playing fetch or tug-o-war. Chance is currently undergoing training to receive his Canine Good Citizen Certificate. The purpose of Dolly’s Foundation is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome homeless, neglected, and abused American Pit Bull Terriers and other bully breed dogs. As well as preserve, promote, and bring positive awareness to the breed and the negative stereotype bestowed upon them.
Dolly’s Foundation is an all volunteer run non profit organization. We receive no state or federal funding. We do not have a shelter location; all of our dogs are living in foster homes throughout the state of Florida.
If we feel that your family might be a match for one of our dogs, you will be contacted to schedule a home check pending initial approval of your application. Adoptions will be based on a successful application, veterinary reference check, home visit, and any special considerations on a dog-to-dog basis. Our adoption fee is $150 which includes spay/neuter, appropriate shots, and a microchip.
We adopt to those currently living in the state of Florida.
