R2D2's Story...
This is R2D2. He was dropped off as a stray at the Rockaway Animal Hospital in August and was then evacuated to our shelter due to Hurricane Irene. He came to us dirty and scared. He would hiss when you walked near his cage and didn't like to be touched by humans (he was very jittery). After a good bath and a lot of daily loving, he finally started to purr when being held. Now, he loves to be held and will even seek out attention from humans. He also will lick your face and give love bites. His purr is extremely loud for a cat his size - LOL! He even purrs when he eats. He loves to play with other kittens and loves to chase toys around the room. He would do great in a home with other young cats.
