Her Owners write:

"Hello! I'm hoping you can help us! We have an adorable 3 year old Weimaraner who is extremely intelligent, so lovable, but also very hyper. We bought her from Shake-a-Paw when she was 3 months old, (she has all her papers). We have loved her, trained her (as best we could being very inexperienced with this breed) and given her a big yard to play around in. But now, I am 7 months pregnant with my first child and we are concerned about the safety of our newborn in the future because of her hyper nature.

She is used to being in a crate, due to her safety since she gets into many things and we are both at work. (This is another reason we feel she has become more anxious and a situation where someone is home would be better.)

She knows how to sit, lay down, shake (with both paws), and roll-over. She is house trained (of course) and very good about that! She also knows how to open most doors with a levered handle and storm doors to let herself out. She loves bones, tennis balls, stuffed animals and anything soft and furry. She is an excellent guard dog, but can be a little timid around strangers.

Our goal is to give her a very loving home (with older children or none at all and other dogs because she loves to play with our boxer) in a very large yard or property where she can roam. A fenced in yard is a must!! I've included some pictures so you can see what she looks like. We are devastated with this decision but we think it will be best for her and us. Please get back to me ASAP. Thanks so much!!
