Bark! My name is Kirby! I am a goofy and tenacious little Jack Russell Terrier. I was rescued from a puppy mill in September 2011, where I was a stud dog. I was not quite sure of what to make of the outside world at first, but now I LOVE it! Going for walks are fun, but dog parks and green grass are the best! I also learned to play fetch! Okay, well, I don’t exactly play fetch as much as keep away. I will bring you a toy, drop it at your feet, stare at you and bark until you try to grab it, and then I will snatch it away. And watch your fingers because I won’t care if they are in the way or not. Everything about me is funny! My legs are too short, my head is too big, I have an under bite, and my tongue sticks out of my mouth just a bit all the time. I always look like I am smiling. My foster mom thinks that I might have circus music playing in my head all the time - I make her laugh with my antics. I like kids a lot, but because I snatch toys without worrying about fingers in my way, I might not be suited for young children. Unlike most JTRs, I could care less about cats. And I get along with other dogs too! If you are looking for a sweet, loveable, goofball who loves to cuddle, I am your man! Please let the rescue know if you would like to meet me! I have been neutered, had a dental cleaning, am heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations, and am microchipped.
