Ellie - in Maine's Story...
Meet Ellie!

Ellie is an adorable 11-12 week old puppy (as of 10/15/11) who came to our rescue from Rogersville, TN. She looks like a cross between a Beagle and a Red Tick Coonhound.

Ellie is a friendly outgoing pup who would love a home that will give her lots of affection and exercise. Being a a smart and social girl - she would also thrive in a basic obedience class.

Puppies need someone who is able to be home with them or make arrangements for care during regular workday. They need bathroom breaks every 2-3 hours and should not be crate more than a few hours at a time.

If you are looking for some puppy love - and think the Ellie is the girl for you - please contact chabbe@aol.com for an adoption application,

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ellie - in Maine, a Freeport Beagle/Redtick Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Redtick Coonhound for sale in Freeport, or seeking a Beagle/Redtick Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Redtick Coonhound breeders who help with Beagle/Redtick Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
