What’s cute and cuddly and loves to purr in your ear all night? It’s Splat and Pancake of course!

This adorable duo earned their names mere moments after we met them. Two of our volunteers were outside of the shelter when one suddenly spotted the pair trying to cross the street with a car speeding toward them. He shouted, and the other volunteer darted across the street, shooing them onto the sidewalk and scooping them up.

What an experience at only 6 weeks old!

Since then, this pair of kittens has made sure we know how grateful they are for the rescue. Whenever you pick them up, they immediately drape themselves over your shoulder, purring happily. If you’re sitting down, they’re right there on your lap.

These itty bitty sweeties have just reached 8 weeks old. You can meet them at the shelter any time during adoption hours, Thursday through Sunday 5 to 8pm, or call 330–397–8270 to schedule an appt to meet them at another time or on another day. They are not yet spayed/neutered, but we’re expecting this to be done within 1–2 weeks. After you meet them, you can fill out an adoption application. If approved, you must leave a 50% deposit ($35) to reserve your favorite (or reserve both!). They can then go home with you the day after their spay/neuter.
