BRUNO MARS's Story...
Bruno is 9 months old (June 1, 2012).
Bruno is the largest of his litter and he can be a couch potato in the winter. He likes naps and takes his time waking up in the
morning and after naps. He loves being outside, chasing his foster mates and other imaginary prey up trees and stalking them through
the grass. He likely will not like being an indoor-only cat. He loves to hang He will sit at the door and meow to be let outside.

He is very playful and would love a good playmate (animal or human). He likes to think he's a tough, macho, but he really is a
marshmallow. He is also talkative at times and will tell you about his day and all his troubles.

I do not have dogs, but his siblings, which have been adopted into homes with dogs, have all done great. He is not afraid of my
neighbors' dogs, and they like to chase him. I think a dog would be good for him, actually. I hope your mellow older dog would be
okay with a cat who might want to play with him/her.

He is great with other cats, but likes to be a pesky brother at times. I have cats of all ages and personalities and he gets along
with all of them. He likes to cuddle with them at bed time. He has retained some suckling behavior at bedtime. He prefers one of his
fostermates, but will also do suckle and make biscuits with a furry blanket or bedding. It is cute, but I am trying to gently get him
out of the habit. It is lessening as he gets older though. Part of the trauma of being removed from his momma at such a young age.

He is a good cuddler and plays well, but he is all male and can hold his own in a tussle. I do not know how he would be with kids. A
dog would be great for him, I'm thinking. He is litter trained and eats anything. LOL

He will likely be shy at first, but as with his adopted siblings, he will adjust quickly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

BRUNO MARS, a Tillamook Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tillamook, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tillamook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tillamook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tillamook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tillamook paves the way for another one to be saved.
