Thank you for your interest in Roxie, the rescue who is bringing Roxie has the information on Roxie's background. The rescue has asked Dog Days to pre-screen interested adopters for all of their dogs coming to our event.

Roxie is 14 mos old and weighs 60 lbs. She is well behaved, housebroken, sits, downs and shakes. Roxie gets along with other dogs and great with kids. Roxie was found on a highway where she was dumped at 6 wks old. She was adopted and after 1 yr their landlord told them that they could not have a dog. She was returned to us.

APPLICATION FORM (copy paste this address into your web browser):

If you would like to begin the application process please fill in the form at the link above and we will forward your information to the rescue for their review. We will call your references and vet reference if applicable. If you are renting please note you must have a written letter of permission from your landlord to own a dog on their property.

The rescue will be conducting interviews for adopters at our event weekend in Killingworth, CT at the end of this month. Pre-screened adopters will be interviewed first and then walk-in applications will be reviewed. As a policy the rescues will not hold dogs for potential adopters so it is important to come to the event Saturday morning if you have your heart set on a particular dog. We will be posting more information on each dog as we get closer to the event weekend.

We hope you will understand the careful scrutiny of potential adopters is not only for the safety and well being of the dog but also for a positive experience for your household. Thank you for saving the life of a shelter dog through adoption, you are truly a hero.
