Button's Story...
My story: Along with my two sisters, I was rescued from a home where we were not being cared for properly. We were a little skittish at first, but with lots of love and attention from our foster family, we have all become snuggle bugs! I am the smallest of the litter and really like having a "mommy." I'll greet you at the door and follow you around in the hope that you'll hold me or let me snooze in your lap. I will reward your attention with a non-stop purr. Oh, and I'm cute as a button, don't you think?
Good with Cats: Yes | Good with Dogs: Yes | Good with Children: Yes

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Button, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
