Cookie's Story...
This is Cookie…….
Cookies, Cookies, Cookies… Everyone loves cookies, and everyone will love this sweet gal when they meet her.
Cookie is our first long coated shepherd and is she gorgeous!. She is more on the petite size, but not quite a pocket shepherd. This gal has some “Special Needs”… Cookie never experienced fun, affection, or Love. She will need a stay at home person and another mellow dog to give her comfort. Patience will go a long way to win this girl’s trust. We believe she may have had a litter or two (2), and so other dogs of any size are okay. Some of the silly young boy dogs in the foster home got her to chase them the other day and it was the start of pure fun. Aaahhhhh !!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cookie, a Evergreen Park German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Evergreen Park, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Evergreen Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Evergreen Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Evergreen Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Evergreen Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
