Sampson is an 8 year old registered AKC Samoyed male; "Krystall's Bright As the Sun" WS04528101. He has a very complete file of his history available for his new family. His AKC registration papers are in his file and have been signed by his previous owners for full transfer to his new owners. His pedigree is on file. He has been microchipped by the "AKC Companion Animal Recovery". The registration for the Microchip number identified by the Home Again Program is in his file and therefore will be easily transferred to his new owner's name. He has been neutered and is house broken.
Sampson has lived with his family in a home in Evergreen, CO which is located on Evergreen's golf course. For many years the electric fence has proven to be efficient in letting Sampson know the boundaries of his yard. Wooden fencing is not allowed in this neighborhood. Recently he has learned that the "zap" only lasts briefly and he now runs the neighborhood. His canine instinct has him chasing rabbits and cats. Unfortunately he caught a neighbor's cat & played much too roughly with it. He has not lived with cats so I cannot say if this one incident describes total interaction with cats. He gets along quite well with other dogs. He enjoys children very much and is very obedient. He knows commands of sit, stay, down, wait and come. He will not jump up on furniture unless he is invited to do so. He is quite athletic and will glide over baby gate dividers which I use between my kitchen and living room. He truly is a sweet guy and will easily and quickly fit right in with many families.
