My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATED BIO 10/18/2011: Hi , my name is Kosmo and am 11.5 pounds of
something! Maybe cockerpoo or yorkie/cockerpoo or
yorkie/cockerpoo/something else. I am a just about a year old now and
have been with my foster mom in Delray Beach for a little over a week.
I was an owner surrender that was originally purchased at a flea
market. My owner worked too hard for too many hours and I was boarded
too much so for the love of me he gave me up to United Yorkie Rescue.
In spite of the fact that I have been many places in my short life I
am very well adjusted. You can see by my video that I love to play
with my foster mom's dog Elvis who is so happy to have me play with
him. I love everyone I meet and all the dogs I meet except if they
are aggressive with me. I have gone to the dog park for the first
time since I came here and foster mom watched me very closely to see
what I would do. I loved everyone there and all the dogs. I do play
very hard with Elvis and would love to have a playmate in my new home.
I love to chase toys and once I have one I like I bring it to FM and
drop it in front of her and stare at it until she throws it. I am for
the most part housebroken. I don't know how to give a signal that I
need to go but foster mom says she can "read" my signals. When I get
restless she takes me out and sure enough I know what to do every
time. I sleep in a crate because I am used to it. Foster Mom tried
to let me sleep on her bed with all the other furbabies in the house
but I didn't know that I was supposed to settle down and wanted to
play some more so she put me in my crate as she knew I was trained to
sleep in it. I go in, she shuts the door, and I never make another
peep until she gets up and lets me out with leash ready. We go right
out and I do my business. I eat mostly dry food but at night I like
some wet food in the bowl too. I am perfect for you. You just need
to figure it out and make out an application for me. No matter what I
look like or what kind of mix I am my Foster Mom thinks someone will
be very lucky to adopt me.

INITIAL BIO 10/09/2011: MEET KOSMO! He’s an adorable 11 month old 11.5 lb yorkie-cocka-poo! Yup, that’s right. Kosmo’s owners thought he was a yorkie-poo, but we’re pretty sure he’s a yorkie-cocka-poo (a cocker spaniel/poodle mix, in with maybe 1% yorkie?). LOL! He’s a typical puppy who loves to play with toys, is house trained and is very smart. After all, the poodle is the #2 smartest dog in the world, right? Kosmo’s previous owner loved him a lot, but was no longer able to keep him and came to our group to re-home him. If you’re looking for a perfect puppy, you should consider Kosmo!
