Sherpa's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, and declawed.

Sherpa's Story...
Sherpa appears to have been abandoned as no one has tried to find him. He was someone’s pet as his front paws have been “declawed” and he has been neutered. He is now up to date on vaccines, de-wormed, tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV, and has had flea treatment.
Sherpa likes to be an indoor/outdoor cat though he probably would be fine with indoor only. He is very affectionate with people and does not like sharing attention with other animals – he’d prefer to be the only pet in the household.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sherpa, a Floyd Himalayan cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Floyd, or seeking a Himalayan cat from a breeder in Floyd.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Floyd already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Floyd breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Floyd paves the way for another one to be saved.
