Rufus's Story...
Rufus was found wandering on a busy road and taken to our vet's office. He was given all his shots, neutered, and he is now ready to find his forever home. Rufus is an 18 months old Boxer/Hound mix. He is extremely outgoing and friendly, and gets along with other dogs. He walks fairly well on a leash, but has a lot of energy so he tends to pull a bit. We're not sure if Rufus is housebroken as he's currently being boarded at our vet's, but he waits to be let out of his kennel to do "his business" so we're sure he'll be very easy to housetrain. Rufus is full grown and weighs approximately 60 pounds. If you are interested in making Rufus the newest member of your family please visit our website at www.rrocf.org to complete our online adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rufus, a Minneola Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Minneola, or seeking a Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Minneola.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minneola already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minneola breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Boxer/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minneola paves the way for another one to be saved.
