My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ausra - female, spayed, vet checked, vaccinated to date inclu. Rabies, dewormed, tx flea preventative, heartworm tested (-), ~1yr, ~40lbs, German Shepherd.

Ausra’s family has been living in their car. They have finally made the heartbreaking decision to give Ausra up in hopes of her finding a family that can give her everything they can’t so she can have a better life.

This is a very unique pup, she looks like a Miniature Black German Shepherd! She is a young, cute, fun and energetic girl. She has been through a lot and will need a patient person to let her settle in and she shows promise of being a fantastic, loyal companion for the right family. She is good with other dogs and respectful children, we have not had her around cats. She is house trained and crate trained, we would suggest she continue crate training at night and when alone until she gets settled in to a new life and routine (another few months). She can be left alone for typical 9-5 work hours. She is active and will need an active person/family to keep her busy. She’d excel at obedience classes and this would also encourage a strong bond with her new people. Ausra needs a house with a fenced yard.
