Hi, I'm Britney. I was rescued from Chicago Animal control with my newborn babies. We were all very hungry, very sick and I wasn’t healthy enough to feed them. Sadly, my babies didn't make it. It took me a long time to get better, but I’m doing great now.

I’m a very friendly and outgoing girl—and I love to tell you all about it. That’s right, I’m quite the talker. I like to make sure that I’m always the center of attention. I’m also a Velcro kitty: I follow my foster mom everywhere. I have the softest fur, and I love to snuggle against my foster mom’s cheek when she sleeps at night.
I don’t love dogs, but I tolerate them—and keep them in line if need be. I am okay with other cats, but would prefer a household where I can shine and be the center of attention. (Or a house with mellow cats, as I can be a bit bossy with some cats.)

All cats are spayed or neutered, microchipped, current on their vaccinations, feline leukemia/FIV tested, per age; flea/tick preventative and urgently awaiting adoption!

The dogs and cats are so very appreciative of your support. Together we can save these forsaken loving 'innocents' who are condemned to death.

About Illinois Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of individuals, groups, volunteers, workers, veterinarians, independent rescuers, humane investigators, transporters, a coalition of humane societies, shelters, humane organizations, shelters, not-for profit organizations, pounds, well... Just regular people, scattered throughout the state of Illinois and beyond. We strive for the rescue and humane care and treatment of the animals in our community, state and throughout our country. Together we are savings over 7,000 lives yearly.

Illinois Animal Rescue, Inc. is 501(c)(3), not for profit and no-kill.

Our goals are to ensure that every animal is treated with the respect that they deserve; to educate our communities on the importance of spaying or neutering their pets to solve the pet overpopulation problem; the humane treatment and care of all animals and the rescue and transportation of the many animals that are being put to death in our communities every day, due to no fault of their own.

We are so very appreciative of your support, and will continue to grow our network bigger and better in 2011. In the coming year, we will continue our goal to rescue every single animal in Illinois, gain exposure for the pounds in need and develop good relationships with only the best rescues that meet our criteria.
