LANA's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with dogs.

LANA's Story...
LANA is a 3 yr old apricot colored miniature who weighs about 11 lbs. She is a very affectionate dog who loves getting all of the attention. She is very protective of her owner. For the most part, she is housebroken and understands the crate.

LANA stills need a little work walking on the leash but otherwise does fine. Also, she may whine in the crate because she loves being with her owner. She's not fond of making friends with other canines and will bark/growl when they approach.

LANA is currently being fostered in DUVAL county. To learn more about adopting her, go to www.coastalpoodlerescue.org/poodles/poodledetail.cfm?dogID=1512

APPLICATIONS ARE ACCEPTED ONLY FROM FULL/PART-TIME RESIDENTS OF FLORIDA AS A HOME VISIT IS REQUIRED; NO EXCEPTIONS. IF YOU DO NOT LIVE IN FLORIDA, PLEASE LOOK FOR RESCUE GROUPS IN YOUR HOME STATE. WE APPRECIATE YOUR COOPERATION.

Can't adopt right now? Consider becoming a foster home for a rescue dog; it's temporary, but very fulfilling and your only cost is their food! Fill out a volunteer application from our website at www.coastalpoodlerescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LANA, a Melbourne Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Melbourne, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Melbourne.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Melbourne already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Melbourne breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Melbourne paves the way for another one to be saved.
