Thackery Earwicket's Story...
Thackery Earwicket is the name of the “March Hare” from Alice in Wonderland. Just like his namesake, Thackery is, indeed, as mad as a March hare. He is bouncy and silly. Just like in the books and movies, Thackery keeps you entertained with his playful goofiness.

You will be hard pressed to find a more beautiful dog than Thackery anywhere, with his dazzling white fur and bright blue eyes, he sets a stunning picture.

Like 12% of all white animals with pink skin, Thackery is deaf. Please don’t think of it as a disability – he doesn’t! After all, Thackery has never been yelled at, scolded, reprimanded or heard a bad word, at least not to his knowledge! Maybe that’s one of the reasons he is so joyful all the time!

We have a trainer on staff that owns, works with and trains hearing impaired dogs. Thackey will learn just as fast as a hearing dog – he will sit, stay, down, come and walk on a leash. Please ask us for more details.

If your family is a little on the nutty side and you’d like a super sweet addition, put in an application for Thackery today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thackery Earwicket, a Reno Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Reno, or seeking a Boxer puppy from a breeder in Reno.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Reno already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Reno breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Reno paves the way for another one to be saved.
