Rescue from high volume, high kill shelter.

Tyler is a social boy that loves to be around people. He is house trained and crate trained. Being a puppy it would be ideal for him to continue his sleeping in his crate at night and when alone for a little longer. Once a good routine has been established after a few months in his new home he will likely be fine given free roam of his home. He is okay with other dogs but can be dominant and doesn’t always get along with other male dogs, he is better suited to a home where he is the only dog or with a female dog. Due to his dominant nature he isn’t exactly ideal for dog park play and prefers leash walks or off leash time in other fenced, less doggy-busy areas. We have not had him around cats but he could likely learn to live with a feline after a proper leashed introduction and a little training. Tyler is fine with respectful children of any age, he may still jump up when excited so a home with dog savvy kids is preferred. Tyler is an energetic, happy go lucky boy that would do well in obedience classes with his new family. Obedience classes are a great way to bond with your new pup and get the whole family on the same page with regards to training and which commands to use with your canine pal. Tyler likes a good brisk walk each day and likes a good romp around the fenced backyard. He likes to spend time with his people and is a typical puppy with sill antics to keep you amused and keep him getting the attention. Tyler is perfect for an active family willing to do a little training. If you’re looking for a smart, responsive and loyal pup to become your next pal come meet Tyler!
