Chanty's Story...
This big guy is Chanty. He came into the shelter from the corner of Fairfield and Kansas in the Echo Ridge subdivision in Moriarty. He is an American Bulldog/Pit Bull mix, about 6 years old, already neutered, and very mellow. Just look at him! You can't say no to that face! He is not wearing a collar, but he is microchipped. Unfortunately, the phone number registered on the chip has been disconnected, so an owner cannot be reached. He's a very sweet boy who likes to just follow you around and get big hugs. If you know who he belongs to, or you would be interested in adopting him, call the shelter at 384-5117 today. And remember, because he is already neutered, that means his adoption fee is only $40!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chanty, a McIntosh American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in McIntosh, or seeking a American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in McIntosh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McIntosh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McIntosh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Bulldog/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McIntosh paves the way for another one to be saved.
