Bobo's Story...
Bobo is a very sweet, calm, loving and lovable, one-year-old, 45-pound, male, American Bulldog looking for a loving guardian. Bobo gets along with other dogs (don’t know about cats), and he loves people! He knows the commands sit, rolls over for belly rubs and takes treats very gently from your fingers. Bobo is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, de-wormed and heartworm-tested. If you are interested in fostering or adopting this needy boy, please contact Melia at melia88@comcast.net or 708-224-1900. His adoption fee of $200 benefits rescue dogs. He is currently living in a kennel in Steger, Illinois, and looking for a nurturing home environment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bobo, a Chicago American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog for sale in Chicago, or seeking a American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog breeders who help with American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
