CODY's Story...
Miniature Pinscher MALE / ADULT 5 YRS,

CONTACT: For more information, contact Laura, the foster family: 626-374-1551 or by email

We could not capture Cody's great personality and sweetness in a picture, this little guy you just need to meet, once you do, you will want to make him part of your family.

Cody is an amazing dog, he is so full of life, love, and eagerness to please, when he looks at you, there is a connection hard to describe.

A wonderful dog with a few extra pounds, he is being walked everyday, and he will go down to his ideal weight, he is not a petite delicate Minpin, he is taller so his ideal weight would be 15 to 18 lbs, his new adoptive family will need to continue his weight loss program with diet and daily walks.

He is very smart, athletic, playful and inquisitive, very affectionate, walks well with a leash, is good with other dogs, cats, good with people and kids, sweet and mellow, not a barker.

Cody’s foster mom says about him: "He is such a joy to have and such a character, you give him a blanket and he crawls underneath it and cuddles up, all bundled up and that is how he sleeps. Cody is perfect in every way!".

Cody is housebroken, neutered, current on all shots and he is currently living in a foster home patiently waiting for his forever family to come find him.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CODY, a Long Beach Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Long Beach, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Long Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Long Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Long Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Long Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
