ABNER is an ADORABLE, 2 1/2 year old, approx 20 to 25 pound, PUREBRED CAIRN TERRIER. Abner was found running down a busy hwy in MS. along with Lola another Cairn(also on our site). We notified all the shelters, vets, and put an ad in the local newspapers but no one came forward to claim these two pups. We feel that someone had just thrown Abner and Lola away because they had some places on them which looked like they had been burned. It is unimaginable to us how someone could do such a thing to these wonderful, sweet pups!!!! Abner is such a happy go lucky boy! He is a beautiful representation of the breed. His eyes are a gorgeous, warm, amber color and he is just so CUTE!!!. He gets along with other dogs, but seems to enjoy the company of female dogs better. He has a playful and fun nature and he is great with kids. He is a scruffy bundle of joy and is Mr. Personality! He has been house trained and crate trained. Abner has been neutered, current on shots, including bordatella and rabies, dewormed, heartworm negative, on preventative and Frontline Plus. He is being fostered in the South, and when adopted he will travel to the New England area by way of a pet transport company, the adoption fee is $450.00 and this includes the transport fee.
