My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rosco has a familiar story of how he came into rescue. His family was moving and he wasn't going to be making the move with them. We agreed to take him just as he was about to be taken to the shelter.

Four year old, 11 lb Rosco is a sweet, sensitive dog. He is shy but friendly when meeting new people. He needs a home with a firm, confident owner. (Babying Rosco will make him less confident.) Rosco would also love to have a canine sibling in his permanent home.

Rosco was understandably traumatized when he first came into rescue. He's now begun to relax and adjust to his new routine. Rosco loves to be with his people and he loves to cuddle. However, he is a young dog so he is not ready to be a full time couch potato.

Rosco is a beautiful red brindle. We've had him neutered, micro chipped and
vaccinated. He's ready to find his perfect forever home.

Rosco's tax deductible adoption fee is $250. If you are interested in meeting Rosco, please fill out the online adoption application at www.scdr.org
