Sten!'s Story...
Sweet Sten is looking for a home! He is a very loving 6 mo old kitten! What a cutie! He seems to love kitty companionship and can't wait to find a family to take him in and spoil him rotten! Here is what his fostermom has to say:

Sten is a very petite young man. He is EXTREMELY loving and can some times be a attention hog. He has a lot of character just like his playmate Simon. If you get low enough he will climb up onto your shoulders to hang out. It is sometimes hard to hold him for this reason because he would much rather be on your shoulders then in your arms. One thing I find very unique is he uses his paws a lot to interact with people. He will grab your hand to draw it to him and the sweetest thing is he never uses his claws. I have never met a cat that was so careful with their claws. He likes to nuzzle his nose to yours. Although he is a love bug he can also be playful. Also he does great so far with my dog. When meeting my dog Sten & Simon both just walked right up to him and started purring and rubbing on him! Keep in mind my dog is 65lbs. He is litter box trained and ready for a loving family! Any other questions on his personality & such just contact us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sten!, a Sacramento Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
