Rose's Info...

I am purebred and a special needs pet.

Rose's Story...

Rose is an approximately 8-10 year old pug. She was surrendered by a breeding facility to a high kill shelter. She was used as a breeder dog and rarely if ever left her cage. She is very timid but learning to love people. She is also blind and will need eye meds for the rest of her life. But she has good years left to live outside of a cage and NOT in fear.

All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, current on their vaccinations, heartworm tested if age appropriate; treated for fleas/ticks and urgently awaiting adoption!

The dogs and cats are so very appreciative of your support. Together we can save these forsaken loving 'innocents' who are condemned to death.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rose, a Palatine Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Palatine, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Palatine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palatine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palatine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palatine paves the way for another one to be saved.
