Angel is a female Greenwing Macaw and is friendly, especially after she gets a chance to get used to her new surroundings. Her previous owners had to give her up because of their health issues. She deserves the best, and will give you hers! She is always trying to feed me, her foster mom. She has the ability to talk and will after she gets to know you...but she will say "Hi" right away! She will also pick her foot up to wave when she say's "Hi" or "Hello". She also says "cracker", "rug rat", "SpongeBob", not as clear, but a work in progress! Guess she likes NickToons, lol! She was plucking, but has been preening a lot and the feathers are growing back in already. She will make a great addition to your family as she likes men and women. Dogs are also okay, and big dogs at that! I think she would prefer to be the only bird so she can get all the attention! But she doesn't show aggression to other birds.....She's great and needs to find a family that knows how to treat her, like the Angel she is! She likes bird cookies and bird bread that foster mom makes her and is already eating her pellets, sometimes she likes to dip them in her water! She loves to take her own bathes n her water dish, but I still have to mist her. So give her a thought if you are looking for a forever companion!
