Becky's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Becky's Story...
5 yr old black & tan female, spayed, undocked tail and uncropped ears. 11", 10 lb. Shots up-to-date. Owner give-up.
Everyone deserves a 2nd chance, right? How about a 3rd chance? Becky was rescued about 2.5 years ago from death row at an IN shelter, only to now be surrendered to IMPS by the family she grew to trust and love. She's a sweet girl who craves attention and just wants to be with her people. She bonded closely and quickly with foster mom (we've been calling her "Shadow") but takes a little time to warm up to men. She has excellent backyard manners, is completely housebroken, very playful, loves chewy toys, snuggles under blankets and loves her heating pad. She gets along well with her foster doggie sisters (one big and one small) but seems a little frightened by the cats. She had knee surgery on 10/11/11 and is on the mend & ready for new adventures. She is on limited activity for 6-12 weeks. She's welcome to stay at her foster home, as long as it takes to heal but she could just as easily heal in the loving care of a new family! (what a great way to bond with her!) We would recommend Becky go to a quiet home, with a family that has lots of time to spend with her. She is a barker, so an apt may not be the best living situation.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Becky, a Syracuse Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Miniature Pinscher for sale in Syracuse, or seeking a Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Syracuse.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Syracuse already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Syracuse breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Syracuse paves the way for another one to be saved.
