Sasha’s family is looking for a special home for her since they can no longer keep her where they are currently living. Sasha is very sweet with people and wonderful with older children. She is loving with toddlers but can be a little enthusiastic around the toddlers and can unintentionally knock them over. She has a healthy prey drive so she shouldn’t go to a home with cats or other small animals. She loves to play ball and adores swimming. She has been through several obedience classes and we earned her Canine Good Citizen Certificate. She does well off leash once she has bonded to you and is very responsive. She is very much a people dog and while she does just fine at home by herself, she would much rather be your constant companion. She rides beautifully in the car and she loves to go hiking and adores the snow. She needs a good dose of daily exercise, meaning at least an hour-long walk and some play time, but once in the house is very well behaved and mellow. She has a goofy sense of humor that makes everyone that meets her smile.

In the past year, she was diagnosed with a fibrosarcoma in her right rear knee but we had it removed and her prognosis is good although she has been left with a slight limp in that leg.
