Jett's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Jett's Story...
Jett is a sweet boy who was found as a stray by Sacramento County Animal Care and Regulation. He was very timid and shy among the barking dogs in the shelter environment; immediately upon leaving the parking lot Jett stopped trembling, and relaxed and settled in on the ride to his foster home.

This quiet and calm guy is just looking for a trusting person to respond to his affectionate personality. He is very loving and seems to be used to living in a home setting.

Jett has met other dogs in a friendly manner, both off and on leash, and is currently living with a female foster sister. We will soon know more about how he does with cats but so far he hasn't even noticed the ones in his foster home. He walks nicely on leash and seems to understand "sit" when requested with encouragement.

This gentle boy is just waiting to settle into a forever home so he can resume his life as a family member.

Jett is a Level 2 GSD being fostered in Napa.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jett, a Fresno German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Fresno, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Fresno.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fresno already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fresno breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fresno paves the way for another one to be saved.
