Rolan's Story...
Rollan is a happy 1.5 year old black and tan GSD. He has a thin frame and is on the smaller size.

While Rollan hasn't had much training, he walks nicely on a leash, and he sits for treats. At his age, he really needs good, consistent leadership and training. He will be a good student.

Rollan is very good with other dogs. He enjoys gentle rough and tumble play, and he likes to play run and chase. Rollan is high energy, yes, high energy, and would benefit from daily runs, daily hikes or long, tiring walks.

Rollan is good with cats.

Rollan loves to play with toys. This is a kid who would love to have a full toy box and play with every toy he has. He also plays a leisurely game of fetch; he is a human-interactive dog. He also enjoys biting water from the hose.

Rollan is being fostered in the East Bay. He is a level two dog that needs an owner who is eager to take him to training to be all he can be. This is a nice dog!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rolan, a Fresno German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Fresno, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Fresno.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fresno already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fresno breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fresno paves the way for another one to be saved.
