My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello my name is Freddie. I am a very sweet and loving boy. I came from a very sad situation where I didn’t have much human contact. But all that has changed now that the kind people of Pug Rescue of Florida have taken me in. I am still learning to trust humans and startle at noises or quick movements.

My foster mom spends a lot of time with me, loving me, playing with me and teaching me that humans are ok. It’s taking me sometime to trust people but I’m doing better and better each day. I love other dogs and I don’t have a problem with cats. The ones I live with now are not sure about me but I would never hurt them… I only want to play! I have decreased tear production in both eyes and will need over the counter eye drops daily. My foster mom has to put them everyday and I am learning to be such a good boy and let her do it with no problem.

I like to sleep in the bed and cuddle but what pug doesn’t love that right?? So if you are looking for a sweet, handsome young man I would make a great addition to your family. Take a chance on me… You won’t be sorry! Hugs and Pug Kisses, Freddie
