My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Joey is a loving, well behaved 7 year old who loves to lounge around the house in his bed or in a warm lap. It’s easy to see how well he was taken care of in his previous home, until he was given up due to a major illness in the family. While he may lounge around at home, he springs to his feet when meeting people and when going on walks or just running around the backyard. He follows his foster mom everywhere too and enjoys being petted. He’s healthy and up to date on his vaccines. He does well in a crate and is house broken, never once having an accident at home. Joey gets along well with his foster sister, although he doesn’t like to play with her much. His unique features are a tongue so long that it rarely fits all the way in his mouth and that he can stand on his back two feet for an impressive amount of time while waiting for a treat! Joey is an overall great dog looking for another loving family. Complete an adoption application here.
