Elvis P's Story...
Hi my name is Elvis P. and due to awful circumstances I was surrendered to Pug Rescue. I missed having a “furrever” home, but I walked in, the happy-go-lucky pug that I am, and stole my foster mom’s heart. I love being with my humans big and small and I always have a big smile and “talk” when you come in. Since coming to rescue I have been updated on my shots and given a dental cleaning. I do have to have eyes drops twice a day, but hopefully not for too long. I am a big boy at 23 lbs and I am 7 years old, but young at heart. I am also potty trained and good with all dogs and cats even! My foster mom is great, but please let me make you smile for the rest of my years. I am being fostered in the Panhandle area and my adoption fee is only $200! If you love me but cannot adopt me please consider sending a donation to Rescue to help them pay medical bills for my fellow pug brothers and sisters. My Rescue friends are busy trying to find me and my other foster friends new homes, so please submit an application before contacting them about me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Elvis P, a Windermere Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Windermere, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Windermere.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windermere already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windermere breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windermere paves the way for another one to be saved.
