Brady (formerly Crisco)'s Story...
Crisco is a neutered male Cocker Spaniel mix, approx. six years old. He is housebroken and crate trained. This sweet boy just wants to be your friend. He seems fine with other dogs, BUT he doesn't want them eating his food, and he would probably eat theirs if given the chance. Can we all relate to this? Who doesn't like to chow down! Crisco will be greeting people at the next dog adoption clinic and asks that you make a special request to meet him. He'll even pose for pictures with you if you ask. This boy is a LOVE.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brady (formerly Crisco), a Loudonville Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Loudonville, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Loudonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Loudonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Loudonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Loudonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
