Cassie's Story...
Cassie is in the 3-5 year old age range. This girl is friendly and active. Cassie has no issues with basic or advanced handling. She was playful during tag. We weren't able to fully food test as she was waiting for her spay surgery, so we only gave a little bit of food. She showed interest in cats, seemed curious but friendly, similar to how she was with dogs. Cassie was dog tested with the same size male and female pit bulls. She was very interested in meeting both dogs. She was pushy with the male and intrusive with her sniffs. She wasn't really the same with the female but was definitely interested in sniffing. Cassie was anxious to interact with both dogs, not aggressive, but a lot of interest. If you liked to be considered for this lovely girl, contact for an application is Beth at kaya1227@comcast.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cassie, a Frederick Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Frederick, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Frederick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Frederick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Frederick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Frederick paves the way for another one to be saved.
