Lucy's Story...
Lucy is a 2 year old, spayed cattle dog mix with a short tan and white coat. Her family lost their home so Lucy has been living in outside in a kennel with her mom Easter and brother Ricky. She is still a work in progress, but she has mastered the leash, is crate trained, and is learning to sit. Lucy is a little bit nervous, but tries very hard to do what is asked of her. She is good around horses, fine with other dogs after proper introductions, and has shown no food aggression. Lucy is current on her shots and has been microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy, a Scottsdale Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cattle Dog for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cattle Dog breeders who help with Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
