Petunia's Story...
Hi everyone, Im Petunia and I have a fun video along with my great photos - be sure to watch it, you dont want to miss out!

Im 2-3 years old (cant really remember my birthdays tho!), my owners brought me to the shelter because they didnt have time for me. Im a silly, wiggly-butt girl, and I love to be in your lap - if youll let me (pretty please?)! I passed my temperament test with flying colors, tho Im not real enthusiastic about baseball hats.

Im a shelter favorite and the staff here says Im a little princess, they want to do everything they can to ensure I find a loving forever home. I am good with other dogs and kitties. Im kind of a leaner, I like to be close to my people and get petted.

Will you please, oh please, email my friends at Lady's Hope Dog Rescue and come to see me? I really miss having my own people - Im so lonely here at the shelter, I promise to be a really good girl. Wont you share your home and heart with me? I have so much love to give! Lets have fun and snuggle!

Love Petunia

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Petunia, a Seattle American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in Seattle, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
