My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

JJ is a sweet, but lonely kitty. This ruddy Abyssinian (and perhaps Bengal mix) was dumped at the shelter but rescued by Anjellicle Cats. JJ is 5 years old and is beautiful and very curious. He's still a little shell-shocked and shy, but he is with a loving foster so he can start to feel relaxed and normal again.

JJ is very smart (answers to his name) and curious. He luvs to drink water from the bathtub faucet. He also loves fishing pole toys and plays fetch! He's a big boy (strong, not overly chubby) and purrfectly huggable. His fur is the beautiful Aby pattern and his eyes are stunning large and green. It appears that he was an only cat in his old life. But in his foster home, he is with 4 other kitties. After the first week, they are not best friends, but there are no cat fights either. JJ is curious about the resident kitties and very gentle going near them, even though he is much bigger than they are, and even though they are not thrilled to have yet another homeless kitty visitor in their pad. In his former life, JJ lived with dogs and once he got to know them, even played with them. If you want to meet JJ, you are welcome to come visit his Upper West Side foster home.
