Allie's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Allie's Story...
Allie was rescued from a puppy mill where she'd been used as a breeding dog. She's 5 years old and although a little shy, very sweet once she gets to know you. Allie is great with other animals and we'd prefer she go to a home with at least one other dog in it to help her overcome her fears. Allie is looking for a patient adopter who will give her the time and training she will need to become a normal dog. She has never been in a home before so will need to learn house training and to not be afraid of new surroundings and situations. With time, she will make a great addition to someone's family.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Allie, a Medford Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Medford, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Medford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medford paves the way for another one to be saved.
