Apricot's Story...
Meet RDR's Sweet Little Angel Miss Apricot. Apricot is a young female Poodle Mix that is so sweet and adorbale and she just loves people including children as well as other pets. RDR rescued Apricot after she had been hit by a car and left very matted and abandoned on the streets of the Yakama Indian Reservation. It is unbelievable that her previous owners that we do not know who they are could have treated her that way. Miss Apricot is in the loving care of a Rez Dog Rescue foster home now and has helaed from the accident, has been groomed and is doing great now. Miss Apricot is about a 10 pound spayed female, up to date on all her vaccinations and is now available for adoption with an approved application. If you would like to meet Miss Apricot please request an application from RDR at adoptarezdog@gmail.com Miss Apricots adoption donation fee is $185

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Apricot, a Wapato Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Wapato, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Wapato.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Wapato already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Wapato breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Wapato paves the way for another one to be saved.
