My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If a dog were ever reincarnated as a cat, it was Kramer. He springs to the door to greet you, and wants immediate attention. His favorite attention getter is a belly-exposing flop at your feet and you'd better be prepared to scratch for a good 3-4 minutes, or he will demand more belly time later. He knows when you're going away on a trip and does his best to stow himself in your luggage as you pack. He's very social and not very fond of alone time, preferring to be on your lap or on the couch cushion behind your head. Don't be fooled by his age, either, Kramer can easily clear a 4-foot jump if it means getting closer to you. He's lived indoors with Ike for 11 years and a dog for 4, so he's a social butterfly with all animals. His favorite food is anything you put in front of him, just be sure it's only chicken or fish. With a purr as big as his heart, Kramer needs someone who appreciates the calm lifestyle of an older kitty and will provide enough love and attention to keep him happy. Kramer is 16 years old.

Ike is all cat. As mischievous as they come, Ike will happily let you into his world, but only if you ask nicely, first. Once you're in, though, he's not going to let go. With just a few long strokes of his head, he'll melt in your arms. If he really appreciates your attention, he will actually drool and pretty much pass out. Then you will know he likes you and you'll be "in" forever. While he's a bit older, Ike looks and acts like any kitten. He appreciates a string toy just as much as a back scratch and is tenacious with both. He's more of a stealth charmer, though, and will sneak up to you for attention when you least expect it. That is, unless it's morning time. In the mornings, Ike will nearly crawl up your pantleg for attention as if he's had a bad dream and only wants you to assure him everything is OK. Ike has lived indoors with Kramer his whole life and a dog for 4. Shy, drooling kitties are a rare breed. Let Ike in and once you show him he can trust you, he will be your loyal friend for life. Ike is 11 years old.
