Mia's Story...
My name is Mia and I am 4yrs old. My parents surrendered me since they just had a new baby and dad was working 14 hours shifts so no time for me. I was treated like a princess and want a home where they can treat me like one for the rest of my life. I did go to training school so I am very smart, know all my basic commands, housebroken and trained not to go on couches etc(which at foster home it is ok to do)
I am fine with my new siblings but am fine as the only girl, that is what I was for my life.
I love going on walks, socializing with others, and giving kisses.

I am very happy, compact and small for a pug just a little chunky

Can someone please give me a loving home? I am so sad that I am in a foster home not a permenant home.

Please email for an application, if interested.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mia, a New Milford Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in New Milford, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in New Milford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Milford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Milford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Milford paves the way for another one to be saved.
