Athena & Gaia's Story...
Please contact CaringFriendsCatRescue@Yahoo.Com for more information about this pet.

Athena and Gaia are two adorable little girls that were born at the feral colony we TNR and feed at.  Athena and Gaia are still a little shy, but like to be held and cuddled.

They are not hissy or mean at all.   They are typical kittens that like to play and cuddle with each other.

If you have love in your heart and patience, one or both of these little girls can blossom into beatiful loving cats  Can you give them a chance?

Athena and Gaia were born June 2011

Here are their foster mom's notes about the girls:

Gaia:   Gaia and Athena have both had the run of the house for over a week.  Athena plays hard and is the instigator.  Gaia loves the bigger cats and follows them around trying to see what they're all about.  Gaia will still hiss and hide in any enclosed space.  As always, they have never been aggressive in any way and her growling has even subsided a bit.  Neither of them are shy getting to the feeding area in the kitchen after they've had their meals privately!  She's so pretty and I think Gaia will do alright apart from her sister in time.  It will take time though, they're very close.

Athena:  Well, this is the ringleader, she plays hard and is famous for knocking things over.  Food, water, anything in the room she's suppose to leave alone.  Typical kitten I guess, it's almost as if she's testing me!.  She paces and cries to get out of the bedroom since we've let them run around.  When she is apart from Gaia, she also paces and cries.  She will have a tough adjustment without her sister if she were adopted alone.  Athena still hisses a lot but has never been agressive.  She's harder to catch these days as she loves being free from the bedroom.  Needless to say, their lap time has been limited because they keep running from us.  All in all they're fine with the other cats in the house.
