Marley's Story...
Marley is the second kitty we are trying to help that doesn't reside with us. He, like Lovey, is being boarded at TLC Animal Hospital. It seems like a very sad situation when an eight year old kitty loses his home and ends up being abandoned, but Marley is actually very lucky. His owners were discussing whether or not they should put him to sleep since he wasn't doing well with the other pets in their home. He was there first and was a good boy until they started bringing new pets into the home. Then instead of rehoming the newcomers, they decided to get rid of their original kitty that they'd made so unhappy. Luckily, Dr. Browning and her staff nixed the idea of putting him to sleep and are now trying to find him a new and better home. They say that he is healthy, affectionate to people, and playful. Cats can easily live for 20 years. Please help Marley live his next 12 years or so as the star he deserves to be. If you can except him as the one and only kitty in your home and heart please contact Jessica or Dr. Browning at TLC Animal Hospital. (561) 997-8090

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marley, a Deerfield Beach Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Deerfield Beach, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Deerfield Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Deerfield Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Deerfield Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Deerfield Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
