Marley - LOVING, HOUSETRAINED!'s Story...
Marley Girl is a beautiful, sweet, affectionate, bouncy, energetic girl who is just 1 year old. Marley originally was rescued from the Harbor LA City shelter where she was a volunteer favorite. Marley was then adopted and lived in an apartment with her former owner for 4 months before he had to transfer to Denver into a job with a 50%+ travel schedule. So poor Marley is now looking for a new furever home. Marley is 100% housetrained and has been living in an apartment while her owner works 8-10 hours a day and she can hold it all day until he gets home. Marley is trained - she knows sit, down, stay, fetch, play dead and go to your bed, and probably a few other things.
Marley is WONDERFUL with all people - adults and kids, men and women. But Marley is insecure around some other dogs so she'll bark at them. She is never aggressive, but more scared and uncertain of the other dogs. We currently have Marley in a training program in Moorpark where she is living with a pack of other dogs who are working to make her comfortable around other dogs. Her trainer is certain this will be an easy thing to accomplish. No one has just ever shown Marley the way, but she is still young and very impressionable and SO EAGER TO PLEASE!! She is housetrained and crate trained and also sleeps well in a dog bed. She comes with a crate. She is trust-worthy in the house and just a loving, warm companion who wants a family to call her own. Marley is a Spayed Female and is 1 year old and weighs 50 lbs so she is on the smaller side. She is outgoing and sweet with everyone. She is a smart girl, learns fast and is eager to please! She walks amazingly well on a leash and connects quickly with her humans. She is fine walking near other dogs, tails wagging, but if she is uncomfortable or insecure around the other dog, she will bark. She needs an owner who will make her feel secure. She loves to hike, walk, run, and she rides really well in the car. She is a SUPER sweet girl!! She is microchipped, spayed, up to date on shots and now looking for a foster and/or a forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marley - LOVING, HOUSETRAINED!, a Burbank Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Burbank, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Burbank.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burbank already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burbank breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burbank paves the way for another one to be saved.
