Hello, I'm sweet, adorable MADIE! I am approx. 4 months young- as of mid-November 2011. I will be spayed and fully vaccinated. I have tested negative for Parvo and for Heartworm and I am only a monthly HW preventative- as all healthy, happy dogs should be! I have also been treated with Revolution and Drontal for the prevention of fleas, tape-worms and parasites. I am working on housetraining and doing well! I am pretty good at always using a puppy pad or going potty outdoors. I am catching on quickly! I am very sweet, gentle and loving. I am fostered in an A4A volunteer foster home with another dog and with a cat and I do well with everyone who is kind to me. I even often bathe the cat and snuggle up for nap with her!
I came in weighing hardly over 10 lbs as I was severly starved. My proper weight will be around 25-25 lbs. estimated. Gosh, you could see every bone in my body and I was not able to eat or drink on my own, I was so weak. I had been dumped in one of KY's most high-kill shelters (99% of pets never make it out of the shelter)-- and one lucky day, A4A came to save my life, literally! I couldn't even lift up my head b/c I was so hungry and sad. With wonderful vet care, love and attention at A4A, I am doing fanastic and happier than ever! I SHOULD BE READY FOR ADOPTION AROUND THE FIRST OF DECEMBER, 2011. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO COMPLETE AN ONLINE ADOPTION APP NOW, OR TO EMAIL A4A AND INTRODUCE YOURSELF.
