Meet Remy... a tall mahogany fawn.
This beautiful boy is looking for a new forever family. Remy's family had to give him up due to major financial issues. He is a wonderful boy! His tail is docked due to an accident when he was a pup. This boy is an accomplished couch potato!!!!! If you are not willing to give him or at least share a love seat or couch, this is not the boy for you! He has no experience with cats so he chases them and doesn't know how to play with small dogs...
Remy is good with kids but they should be 6 yrs +. He needs a family where he is not left alone for periods of time. He is not happy being left "HOME ALONE" !!!!!!
Remy is good on a leash with a gentle leader or halti and uses a doggie door, no problem! He is a good watch dog and will let strangers know they are NOT welcome on his property!!!!! He is very clownish and loves to play with doggie toys. He loves bullie sticks and raw marrow bones from Fetch Doggie Store in Scottsdale!
This boy will definitely steal your heart as he has all of us in rescue. He is just a giant love bug and the perfect companion! Plz call or email to set up an appointment to meet this fella!!!! We not only offer refuge to those danes needing a new family, we also work with families who just need some advise or training tips for their baby! But.. if you decide rehoming is the only option, please call us. We have a message line for your convenience 623 869-0409. We do understand how painful giving up your best friend can be. You can bring your dane to us or we can make arrangements to do a pick up.

Rescue is done by volunteers/fosters who are dedicated to helping Great Danes in Arizona find a FOREVER home. We do not have a shelter for you to visit as everyone works out of their homes.. We have several reputable rescues that are currently working with the Alliance. Only those rescues that abide by and follow the Alliance criteria are allowed to post the danes they have available, on our petfinder site.
Adopting your dane through the rescuers with the Alliance assures you a dane that has been temperament tested, altered and vet checked. We require a home check and a meet & greet with all family members whether they are 2 or 4 legged! There is an adoption contract and fee.
We are the largest GREAT DANE RESCUE group in the state of AZ and have been caring for our beloved danes, here in the valley, for the past 16 years.
