Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Beautiful Roxy is about three years old, but what a long three years they've been! She began her life as a chained dog, outside and alone 24/7, having puppies for her family to sell. But when you meet this happy, friendly, all-wiggles girl, you'd never guess she had a sad start to life. Roxy is making up for lost time, taking long walks and car rides with her foster mom, learning new tricks from the dog trainer, sleeping on a fluffy dog bed, and learning about toys and the other trappings of a normal dog life. At 75 lbs, she thinks she's a snuggly lap dog and she loves humans of all ages. She's ready for a forever home with no cats or small dogs where she can keep learning about normal dog life. She's house-trained, crate trained and has good basic obedience. A chained life is a hard life, and she still has some learning to do, but she's a bright, eager, food-motivated dog who aims to please.
Roxy is at Family Dogs New Life Shelter on Saturdays & Sundays and is available for autographs if you'd like to come in and meet her. If you are interested in learning more about Roxy, or meeting her on weekdays please contact blake_michelle@comcast.net
